Back in June, All About Cruises published an article titled “World’session Largest Cruise Ships.” In it, we talked about Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas, set to be released by the end of 2009. Well, she’s here! Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas arrived at Port Everglades, Florida on Friday November 13, 2009. Oasis is now the cosmos’s largest cruise ship.
Oasis of the Seas has a gross tonnage of 220,000, 2,700 staterooms including 28 modern loft suites, 16 decks, and a visitor capacity of 5,400 passengers (double occupancy). It have power to besides hold 2,100 crew members. The ship is 1,184 feet long and it has a greatest beam of 154 feet.
